How to Reach Corbett National Park from Pune
By Air
The fastest way to reach Jim Corbett from Pune is by air. You can take a flight from Pune to Pantnagar Airport (85 km from the park) or Delhi Airport (around 250 km). From either airport, taxis and private cabs are easily available for the onward journey about 2 – 3 hours from Pantnagar and 5 – 6 hours from Delhi.
By Train
There are no direct trains from Pune to Corbett, but you can take a train from Pune to Delhi and then board a connecting train to Ramnagar, the nearest railway station to the park (12 km away). From Ramnagar, jeeps and taxis are readily available to reach your resort or preferred safari zone.
By Road
Jim Corbett National Park is approximately 1,700 – 1,800 km from Pune, and the drive takes around 30 – 32 hours via Indore – Agra – Delhi – Moradabad – Ramnagar – Corbett. While it’s a long journey, the route offers excellent roads, diverse landscapes, and the opportunity to explore several cities along the way.
Travel Tip: For a comfortable and time-saving journey from Pune, many travelers prefer taking a flight to Delhi or Pantnagar and then continuing by road to Ramnagar. This route ensures smooth connectivity, scenic highways, and easy access to the main entry gates of Jim Corbett National Park.
