How to Reach Corbett National Park from Mumbai
By Air
The fastest way to reach Jim Corbett from Mumbai is by air. You can take a flight from Mumbai to Pantnagar Airport (85 km from the park) or Delhi Airport (around 250 km). From either airport, taxis and private cabs are easily available for the onward drive to Corbett about 2 – 3 hours from Pantnagar and 5 – 6 hours from Delhi.
By Train
There are no direct trains from Mumbai to Corbett, but you can take a train from Mumbai to Delhi and then a connecting train to Ramnagar, the nearest railway station to the park (12 km away). From Ramnagar, taxis and jeeps are readily available to reach your resort or chosen safari zone.
By Road
Jim Corbett National Park is approximately 1,600 – 1,700 km from Mumbai, and the drive takes around 28 – 30 hours via Nashik – Indore – Gwalior – Agra – Delhi – Moradabad – Ramnagar – Corbett. Though long, the route offers smooth highways and diverse landscapes for those who love adventurous road trips.
Travel Tip: For a comfortable and time-saving journey from Mumbai, many travelers prefer flying to Delhi or Pantnagar and then continuing by road to Ramnagar. This route offers excellent connectivity, scenic highways, and easy access to the main entry gates of Jim Corbett National Park.
