How to Reach Corbett National Park from Bangalore
By Air
By Train
You can take a train from Bangalore to Ramnagar (via Delhi) or Kathgodam. Though there are no direct trains, several convenient options connect Bangalore to Delhi, from where you can board a connecting train to Ramnagar, the nearest railway station to the park (12 km away). From Ramnagar, taxis and jeeps are readily available to reach your resort or safari gate.
By Road
Jim Corbett National Park is approximately 2,400 – 2,500 km from Bangalore. The drive takes around 40 – 42 hours via Hyderabad – Nagpur – Gwalior – Agra – Delhi – Moradabad – Ramnagar – Corbett. While it’s a long-distance journey, the route offers good highways and scenic countryside stretches, ideal for those who enjoy extended road trips and adventure travel.
Travel Tip: For a comfortable and time-saving journey from Bangalore, many travelers prefer taking a flight to Delhi or Pantnagar and then continuing by road to Ramnagar. This route offers excellent connectivity, smooth highways, and easy access to the main entry gates of Jim Corbett National Park.
