Jim Corbett National Park is open for tourists for all months except July till mid-November due to heavy rainfall and reduced visibility. Winter season lasting from October till February is the ideal season for planning a Corbett safari tour. The temperatures are pleasant ranging from 15 C to 22 C during the daytime and dropping to a low of 5 C during the night time.

The monsoon season of June to September transforms the park into a lush, green heaven. Although, the park is typically closed during this time due to heavy rains and overflow that can create treacherous conditions.
Visibility is low, and animal sightings become less frequent. If you’re on a tight budget and don’t mind the rain, the Jhirna zone remains open with limited safari options, offering a glimpse of the park in its monsoon glory.
