Dhikala Zone

Dhikala is surrounded by open meadows, dense Sal forests and beautiful bends in Ramganga river giving rise to its beauty. Jeep safaris are the only option available here as every day there are limited permits released. 

It has the highest concentration of tigers with other variety like elephants’ herd, spotted deer, sambar deer and abundance in bird species. Dhikala allows overnight stay in heritage forest rest houses giving guest complete experience of wild.

Bijrani Zone

A Picturesque Escape (Open from November to June)

Dhela Zone

Tranquility by the River (Open Round the Year)

Dhela is gently nestled on an oasis meadow of Dhela river’s banks with thick vegetation  as its scenic backdrop. You can take a jeep or canter safari which are allowed at specified times usually early morning and evening hours.

This zone is less populated giving one a chance to interact with nature at closer hand. Durgadevi offers you this unique experience into an uncharted territory of the park.
